El Dorado County Wine Tour
The conference committee has planned an optional wine-tasting experience on the afternoon of
Friday, Feb. 9. Our excursion can handle up to 14 people (if more people are interested, we can try to secure a second vehicle).

Luxury Sprinter Van service will pick up participants at the Embassy Suites.
Gourmet boxed lunch will be provided to nosh on during your one-hour scenic
ride to the El Dorado Wine region. Because of its hundreds of microclimates, El Dorado County wineries produce 50 different types of wine.
Arrive at Miraflores Winery
Miraflores Winery was founded in 1998 by Dr. Victor Alvarez. Our first vines of Syrah and Zinfandel were planted during that year and our first vintage was produced in 2003. Today, our 252-acre high elevation property, tucked away in the Pleasant Valley area of Placerville, runs on solar energy, and is covered with 45 planted acres of 16 different grape varietals. More than 50 Miraflores wines have received 90+ points from Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast.
Arrive at Perry Creek Winery
Nestled in the rolling hills of Fair Play, California, lies the beautiful Perry Creek Winery. Visitors are greeted with open arms and invited to indulge in a wide range of wines, from crisp whites to bold reds
Return ride to Embassy Suites. Arrive back no later than 5:30 p.m.

We will make a 7:30 p.m. reservation for anyone interested in dining together at 58 Degrees Wine Bar & Restaurant https://58degreesmidtown.com located in the heart of midtown Sacramento (1.7 miles from Embassy Suites). We’ll share Uber rides to and from the restaurant and each person is responsible for their own drink and dinner tab.
